PET is a demanding material: it is abrasive, expands again after compaction and often contains residual liquid, labels or caps. These properties make processing difficult and place high demands on the technology.

By compacting PET bottles, the volume can be reduced by up to 90 % – saving storage space and optimizing transport processes. The compact units are easier to handle and can be fed directly into recycling.
Pre-treatment steps such as perforation or invalidation improve material quality and can be seamlessly integrated into existing workflows.
