First check if the message "System not ready" on the display has disappeared. The message should disappear about 10 seconds after the device has been turned on. If the message remains in the display and no other error messages are shown, please contact our customer service.
If a paper jam occurs, the machine stops. The paper can be reversed by pressing the "R" key. If this does not remove the paper jam, soften the blockage with plenty of special cutting block oil for about 60 minutes. The paper can then be pressed down using a thin piece of cardboard. Please ensure that you machine is switched on while pressing down so that the engine can provide support in removing the blockage. If the paper jam cannot be removed by the described procedure, please contact our customer service.

The cutting unit should be oiled if cutting performance decreases, a sound develops and after emptying the paper container. Inject the special oil over the entire width of the feed slot onto the blade shafts. Then, press the "R" key to reverse the cutting unit until all paper residues are released. The oiling of cutting units with strip cut improves the cutting performance and avoids squeaking noises resulting from jammed paper residues.

The machine was not used for 2 minutes. It is in automatic standby mode. The machine starts automatically as soon as paper is inserted. If this display remains, please contact our customer service.
Please check that the front door on the floor unit is properly closed. The collecting frame for the cut paper could be in the wrong position in the floor unit, whereby the front doors cannot be properly closed. If the door was opened during the shredding process, the document shredder needs to be restarted after closing the door using the green power button. If this does not remove the error message, please contact our customer service.
