2008-06-17 - HSM makes donation for forest fire victims and school in Greece
A charity campaign was held once again during the fourth international HSM partner conference in November 2007 in Athens, Greece. For a small donation, each of the more than 60 participants was invited to write his or her personal philosophy of life on a pre-prepared banner.
Many joined in and then eventually decided on the best philosophy of life. The chosen motto was “The meaning of life is to give life a meaning” by Mr Hristo Atanasov, representative of LFM servis s.r.o from the Czech Republic. The winner set off on another journey to Greece to spend a weekend for two there in April. He had some pleasant tasks: he handed over the donation, which had been amply topped up by HSM. The whole amount went to Zacharo Primary School. The primary school is situated in the IIias region on the Peloponnese peninsula and will find the money very useful after being heavily hit by the forest fires the previous summer. The donation will go towards repairing the damage from the fire. The trip and the handing over the donation was organised and supported by Mr Angelos Bertsatos, the Managing Director of the Greek HSM sales partner Riak Aekte.
