2006-01-20 - HSM presents new products at the Paperworld in Frankfurt

One of the highlights of the HSM exhibition in Hall 3.0, Stand D85 is the "silver edition" of the HSM 102.2 document shredder.
HSM, the Salem-based manufacturer, is launching the HSM 102.2 file shredder as a "silver edition". With a new design and higher performance, it is the successor to the HSM 100. The "silver edition" will be available with a strip cut of 3.9 mm and a cross cut of 4.0x25 mm.
The housing and machine plate are completely silver coloured and the body is anthracite coloured. A practical and eye-catching feature is the collection container with inspection window as a filling level display.

The HSM 104.3 and HSM 105.3 models will succeed their predecessors, the HSM 104.2 and HSM 105.2 models, with immediate effect. The functions of the devices have been retained, but the design has been renewed and adapted to the HSM 102.2. The two office shredders now have a safety element, a sturdy base plate which prevents cuttings from falling out and a 33-litre paper basket (5 litres larger than before) with a large inspection window as a filling level display.

However, the star of the HSM stand is the new HSM 390.3. HSM will be introducing its successful professional-class model with a completely re-engineered design, new functions and ergonomic features.

Among other things, the HSM 390.2 is equipped with a safety flap which acts as a splinter guard when CDs are shredded, as well as covering the feed opening. There is also a space for stacking paper in the lid of the housing. Most importantly, the appearance of the 390.3 has been given a thorough make-over.

In addition a completely new cutting machine has been added to the HSM range. The TC 3200 is not only suitable for cutting with a total of three different cutting modes, but it can also be used to perforate paper. The cutting blade supplied as standard can be used to make creative cut patterns from every cutting edge, for example, wavy lines.

The accessories for the cutting machines have also undergone a restyling. The colours of the base frames for the HSM T 7220, HSM T 9610 and HSM T 15007 roller cutters have been changed to suit the cutting devices and are now made of silver/black powder-coated, round tubular steel. The height can be set conveniently from 68 to 98 cm using an innovative, semi-automatic height adjustment mechanism. This allows for work to be performed when either seated or standing.
