Roof Topping-out Celebrated for the New Administration Building in Frickingen

21.11.2008 – The present Company Headquarters in Salem will be moved to Frickingen, Germany

On Thursday the 20th of November, 2008, the HSM GmbH + Co. KG, Salem celebrated the roof topping-out for the new administration building at the Frickingen location with an appropriate event. All participating handicraft companies that contributed to the basic building structure as well as representatives of the prime contractor, the Reisch Company of Bad Saulgau were present. From HSM’s side, Harald Schwelling managed the large construction project in Frickingen.

The general managers of the HSM business group, Hermann Schwelling, Irene Dengler und Dietmar Dengler praised the frictionless progress up to now and the trouble-free organisation of the building activities. Within the framework of the basic building completion, it was again determined that the administration building project at the Frickingen site is within the prescribed schedule and, looking ahead, nothing seems to stand in the way of moving into the building in the Spring of 2009.

On this occasion, the company management announced that in the same timeframe – still in the current year of 2008 – the company headquarters will be moved from the present site in Salem to Frickingen. HSM thereby takes into account the strategic approach of placing the important concern units and thereby also the “Headquarter Site” in Frickingen. The commitment to the location in Germany is confirmed by the fact that HSM will continue as previously to manufacture all its products at the three production sites in Frickingen, Salem and Reichenbach (Saxony). With the concentration of the most important functional unit at the Frickingen site, HSM sets the course for further solid growth to ensure the expansion of its market position in the global market environment.

Frickingen’s mayor, Joachim Böttinger, called the topping-out a “very joyful and memorable event”. A representative building is very important for a company and for Frickingen, the new building is “a milestone in our development.” The mayor stated that he and the local council are especially pleased that Frickingen was selected for the company headquarters.

Managing Director Hermann Schwelling also displayed his pleasure with the new HSM administration building. “We are happy that, in a few months, we will be able to move into such a nice building”, he said. Since the establishment of the company, investment was always made in production facilities but investment for office buildings was held back. “With this administration building, it will be as we have imagined”, the manager said contentedly.
