2010-04-13 - HSM of America Expands to Larger Facility

HSM of America announces that it has relocated its US Corporate Headquarters to a new 61,000 square foot facility located in Downingtown, PA. This state of the art facility will house all sales, service and support functions for HSM in North America.

Bob Ouellette, President of HSM of America stated that the new Securio line of office technology shredders has enjoyed considerable popularity within the US market and this new facility will enable us to continue to provide world class service levels for all of our resellers while also creating a firm foundation from which we can support our future growth plans.

HSM was founded in 1971 as a one-man company with its headquarters in Salem, Germany on Lake Constance and has many years of experience in manufacturing office document shredders. The HSM brand stands for innovation and quality and is the foundation of its success. Over the years, HSM has gradually grown and has now become a company with over 600 employees, which is active around the world but is still true to its German roots.
