What can I do to protect my personal data?

  • Use a document shredder to destroy your personal documents and do not throw any documents containing personal data or your signature into the waste bin.
  • Store all documents that you still require securely to protect them from access by third persons 
  • Do not leave any documents with personal data such as letters and magazines with address labels, lying around - not even in the car
  • If you use your credit card for a payment, do not forget to take all vouchers with you that contain your complete account data
